The most important day for every proud and responsible citizen of our country, the Constitution Day, is celebrated on this day at Al-Ameen PU College at New Seminar Hall in the presence of Prof. Nawab Pasha, Principal, Al-Ameen PU College, Prof. Rizwana Kousar, Vice-Principal, Al-Ameen PU College, Lt. Jameel Makandar, NCC Officer, NCC Cadets, Students of Al-Ameen PU College and Al-Ameen Degree College.
It was a very proud moment for every one of us. The students and NCC cadets presented their thoughts on the importance of this day.
Prof. Nawab Pasha, Principal, Al-Ameen PU College, addressed the gathering and spoke on the responsibilities of every Indian Citizen towards the constitution and highlighted the hard work of the team led by Dr. B R Ambedkar in bringing the constitution of India into effect on 26th November 1949.
Lt. Jameel Makandar, NCC Officer and Prof. Rizwana Kousar, Vice-Principal with Students of both PUC and Degree Colleges of Al-Ameen were present on this important occasion.

The Drafting Committee of Indian Constiitution had seven members: Alladi Krishnaswami Ayyar, N. Gopalaswami; B.R. Ambedkar, K.M Munshi, Mohammad Saadulla, B.L. Mitter and D.P. Khaitan. At its first meeting on 30th August 1947, the Drafting Committee elected B.R Ambedkar as its Chairman. ref.
